💫 About Me:
I worked as a Research Assistant at the Society for Social and Economic Research, New Delhi, for over 3 years. As a Research Assistant, I worked as a Survey Field Investigator, Data Manager, and Data Analyst. I have experience conducting door-to-door surveys and collecting and verifying data, including paper-based and electronic surveys. Good communication skills to explain survey procedures to participants and resolve any issues that arise during data collection. Ability to organize and manage survey materials and data collection processes. I have experience using statistical software to analyze data, identify trends, and create reports. I am also familiar with R (Statistical Computing Software). I am also familiar with fundamental data analysis with Python, and knowledge of Linux OS and am comfortable working with large datasets. As a Research Assistant, I especially enjoy working with the research team to analyze the data and data collection methods. As a Research Assistant at the Society for Social and Economic Research, I worked with a team of researchers to develop a process for collecting and analyzing data. I worked as a Course Assistant for the IDEAs Advanced Certificate Programme on Research in Political Economy. During this programme, I worked as a Survey Field Assistant, Technical Assistant, and Office Assistant. As a Survey Field Assistant, I provided assistance based on my previous field experience and helped conduct a good survey. As a Technical Assistant, I managed the classroom setup for both in-person (Indian) and online (international) students and helped to provide better visual and audible lectures to international students through Zoom and other related software also for the in-person students. As an Office Assistant, I managed the office and classroom-related things. Like welcoming the resource person, managing stationery, managing accounts, and managing consumable things. As a Course Assistant, I am very familiar with Zoom (online meeting software), OBS-Studio (Broadcasting Software), Videography, Audiography, etc. During my role as a Course Assistant for the IDEAs Advanced Certificate Programme on Research in Political Economy, I enjoyed assisting, especially during the lectures taken by great economists from all over the world.
